Description
Introduced in 1972 and designed by Gérald Genta, one of watchmaking's most renowned designers, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak made history as the first stainless steel luxury sports watch.
This version of the Royal Oak was introduced in 1997 as a 39mm model and was produced until 2011, when it was succeeded by a 41mm version in 2012. Its 39mm size makes it versatile and suitable for a wide range of wrist sizes. Includes Audemars Piguet box and papers.

The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
