Description
The reference 5960 adapts a particularly striking design that has now become adopted in many of their following references - a trio of apertures for the calendar display, found on upper section of the dial. Between these apertures and the signature, a subtle power reserve indicator can be found. Cased in platinum, the current watch is a perfect token to commemorate Patek Philippe’s achievements in the production and design of chronograph wristwatches.
Condition Report
The watch is in excellent overall condition with barely any signs of wear. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Please be advised that bands made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) cannot be shipped outside the country of sale. If these watches are purchased outside of Hong Kong, we will remove these bands prior to shipping.
Please note that this item is final sale and not eligible for return.
