Rolex introduced more luxurious versions of the reference, such as the ref 116509 in 18K white gold. Today, this model remains extremely popular due to its classic timeless design, storied history and wearability. The reference 116509 features a traditional 40mm oyster case and flat-link oyster bracelet all constructed in 18k white gold. The bezel displays an engraved 400-kilometer tachymeter scale. This particular wristwatch features a gray steel dial with black subdials and gold applique hour markers.
