A vintage poster by Keith Haring produced for the occasion of: Keith Haring Drawings, Oct. 9 - Nov. 13 - 1982: Tony Shafrazi Gallery, New York.
The classic white on black, chalk-like design was born out of Haring's famous subway drawings of the same period, and features Haring's radiant baby and barking dog, among other key early defining imagery.
Keith Haring (American, 1958-1990) was an artist and social activist who became a star of the 1980s New York art scene. Along with Jean-Michel Basquiat, Haring was a central figure in Warhol's creative and social circle. Through his public murals, subway drawings, as well as his prints and paintings, Haring created a range of images that have become internationally recognized across a plethora of genres and industries.
