This unique hot pink flyer, which also served as a ticket for two, features “Madonna and Dancers” alongside fellow performers Man Parrish, Project Nebadon, Surprise Surprise Surprise, and Fun Fun Fun. Produced less than 3 months before Madonna released her five-times platinum self debut album on July 27, 1983. Here at the famed club Studio 54, Madonna is said to have emerged on stage from a giant pink and white inflatable birthday cake - this at what some believe to be her first or among her first public performances. Madonna was introduced to Fiorucci - a seminal New York fashion meets art store - by her brother Christopher Ciccone and then stylist Maripol.
