  • After Yoko Ono (Japanese, born 1933).
  • An invitation for the exhibition Paintings and Drawings by Yoko Ono held between the 17th and 30th of July, 1967, at AG Gallery, in New York.
  • This was Yoko’s first solo exhibition in New York and the gallery at which it was held was owned by Fluxus founder, George Maciunas.
  • Text has been stamped onto the reverse of the invitation regarding George’s boycott of the Annual Avant Garde Festival.
  • Yoko’s ‘Painting to be Stepped on’ was exhibited amongst others.
  • This work is presented unframed.
