Figure of Vishnu, one of the most important gods in the Hindu pantheon, hand-carved from wood. <ul><li>Vishnu stands in slight&nbsp;tribhanga, wearing a tall&nbsp;kirtimukuta&nbsp;and foliate crown as well as circular earrings, a beaded collar, and a long string of beads.</li><li>The sacred thread, the&nbsp;upavita, is worn&nbsp;across his chest and he wears a jeweled girdle with a rosette clasp and a short&nbsp;dhoti&nbsp;with&nbsp;hanging garlands.</li><li>The primary right hand is in&nbsp;abhaya&nbsp;mudra, the left holding the bud of a lotus.
