Milaap Patel

Milaap Patel joined Sotheby’s in 2015, where he started out in both specialist and business rotations in Contemporary Art and Sotheby’s Financial Services. Milaap is the most recent addition to the London Private Client Group, joining in 2017, he manages and develops client relationships internationally, often with a Middle East and South Asia focus. He regularly travels to the region to meet with collectors and works closely with colleagues in the Dubai and Mumbai offices. Milaap works on both private sales and the global auctions, advising clients on their art acquisitions. Prior to joining Sotheby’s, Milaap worked in finance, notably at Rothschild and Goldman Sachs, among other banking houses. Milaap is fluent in both Hindi and Gujarati.
