Conceived in 1944; this example created in 1973 by Richard Binder, Brussels. The present work is an artist's proof from an edition of 9 plus 3 artist's proofs.
Andrew Strauss and Timothy Baum of the Man Ray Expertise Committee have confirmed the authenticity of this work under reference 00457-O-2024 and that the edition of this work will be included in the Catalogue of Objects and Sculpture of Man Ray, currently in preparation.
