Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 21121101, dated 28 December 2021, stating that the sapphires is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Also accompanied by Gübelin Gemstone Rating card. Further accompanied by GRS report no. GRS2022-048152, dated 7 April 2022, stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, vivid blue (GRS-type "royal blue"), with no indication of thermal treatment; also accompanied by GRS Gemstone Platinum Award no. 3577, stating that 'this magnificent cushion-cut sapphire is distinguished by a very rare combination of large size, a very fine vivid blue color variety (GRS-type "royal blue"), good clarity, and very good brilliancy and transparency ... Untreated Sri Lankan sapphires of such large size and high quality are very rare.' Please refer to the reports, gemstone card and award for further details. Stamped PT950 for platinum, S48.19 and D2.90 referring to the weight of the sapphire and total weight of the diamonds. Sapphire is of medium deep tone, slightly violetish blue colour and medium strong saturation, under 10x magnification, there are a few minor typical inclusions, a few nicks and a few minor chips at the pavilion but not noticeable when worn. Pear- and marquise-shaped diamonds are about F-G colour and VS-SI1 clarity, as graded in the mount. Brilliant-cut diamonds are bright and lively. Very minor signs of wear to the metal. Overall all in excellent condition.
